On February 13, 2024, CultourGastronomy partners visited the Women’s Cooperative “O Sofras” in Livadi Village, a cooperative that has been promoting local culinary traditions for 24 years. Comprising eight dedicated women, the cooperative focuses on agricultural processing and the production of traditional foods using exclusively local ingredients.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore how the cooperative contributes to regional gastronomy, cultural preservation, and women’s entrepreneurship. A highlight of the visit was the traditional meal shared with the cooperative members, offering a firsthand experience of the authentic flavors of the region.
